Civil War Brogans

Civil War Brogans or Jefferson Bootee's. These were originally made symmetrical, and only wear would determine a left and right. Mine are 'worn,' and while keeping the distinctive square toe, there is a left and right.

Civil War/Indian Wars Officers and Troopers Cavalry Boots

This design changed little from the Civil War era until the 1890s, and the ones offered are based on the 1872 design, can be used for Civil War era as well as Indian Wars. This applies to Officers and Troopers boots. Details include nailed soles and boot pulls. The design was distinctive in that there was no separate foot piece, instead the foot and front of the leg was one piece. The Officers Boot had a higher leg, offering more protection.
